About TEIQ

TEIQ was founded in 1999, originally under the name 'Internet Related Information Services Limited' or IRIS for short.

Originally focussed on being just a web design company, we recognised the lack of integration between graphic design and applications, and also saw the lack of specialist e-commerce infrastructure consultancy. So the company grew into application development and web infrastructure.

In 2005, we rebranded as TEIQ. What does it stand for? Well, nothing really. But since everyone asks, we've come up with 'Technology and E-commerce IQ'. We build web and mobile applications, and integrate core systems. And we do it smarter.

What's with the flower logo? Our design process started with the Egyptian pyramids - designed to last the eons, built from the ground up with smart architectural practices and a lot of hard work, and resulting in a thing of timeless beauty and great impact. The design process led us away from the pyramid, as the logos we came up with weren't impressive enough. So some further research and keeping with the Egyptian theme led us to the lotus flower, the Egyptian symbol of creation.

Note: No slaves are killed in the creation of our websites.
