Sun Directory Server is the core data repository for many high-end websites and internet technologies, including the largest telecommunications companies and ISP's in New Zealand. Directories are highly optimised for lots of access to check or validate data (read-only), and are therefore highly suited to the role of data store to manage user information in an identity management scenario.
